im writing a kids snack cookbook, and if you contribute your ideas they might appear in the cookbook. they don’t have to be *real* recipes, like "one tablespoon this, cream with four cups that" but that’s ok too.

One tortilla with peanut butter wrapped around a bananaa-
2 chocolate chips for eyes

Best of Luck!

I opened a packet of asian style vegetables, and noticed that it was nearly all covered in ice ( i know it was in the freezer !…they are all stuck together and covered in ice)

My question is…..can I still use them – even though the best befoer date was July !!…and the ice situation ?

If yes..anyone got a good, easy recipe that i can do with these veges and some chicken thigh fillets ??

please help…

They are probably still edible, but as they were covered in ice they may have been sitting there a while and gotten freezer burn.
Do they smell funky? If so they may not taste very nice.

Im looking for a simple but good recipe to cook this pork shoulder. Never cooked one before, so I really would like something easy. Also want something that doesnt take TOO long. Any suggestions?

you should cook it fat side up to preserve the moisture in it.
season it with any mixture of spices you like, my preference is garlic, onion and rosemary with a little coffee (for tenderizing)

cover it with foil or a lid and bake in a 325-350 oven for about 30 minutes per pound.

or you can put it in a slow cooker on low all day (about 8-10 hours) just make sure there is enough liquid in it.

I love take out but my favorite spot just went under. Till I find a new one, I want try and make some to hold me off. Just tried the asian helper from a box, wasn’t so great. Anything easy or nothing too costly would do.

Recipe I would like: chicken fried rice, orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls.

I have a good recipe and it’s really easy to make. =D

You will need
-Garlic- Minced or a frozen cube
-Shredded cabbage and carrots. Or just buy a bag of the slaw mix that has different types of cabbage with carrots.
-Tofu [if you want]
-Chicken Cubed or in little chunks. I use packaged kind that’s already cooked.
-Soy Sauce.
-Egg roll wraps

You put vegetable or canola oil in a pan and turn on the setting to high. And put in a teaspoon of the garlic, or one little cube.

-Next you put in your cabbage mix and stir fry it. A cup and a half. [just depends on how much you want to make.]

-Next you put in the cooked chicken and tofu cubes frying it a bit. [if you don't have cooked chicken already you're going to have to cook it before hand of course]

-Last you put in a teaspoon of Soy sauce and mix it all together.

Then you put small spoonfuls into a wrap as illustrated on the wraps package and then follow the directions from there.

Then you deep fry them.

Really good recipe! It tastes better than any restaurant.
